The summer fashion show at the BOI YACHT CLUB was a great success, both for the Op shop and as a fundraiser for the club.
Our models were; CAT LOGAN, KATJA CAULTON, GAIL OLSON, LUCY DOULL, GAIL ROBINSON, DEBBIE KERR, GEOFF WILLIAMS, all old hands on the catwalk. We had two new male models; DANIEL HILL and SANDEEV HIRA who both work for SALT AIR; they got right into the spirit of the show. The dressers who we can’t do without; GLORIA HAWKINS, SUE CAMPION, PATSY UMOROA and SHARRON. Stage manager; LYN CREE, in charge of the kitchen; RAE WALTON, SUE PIN and MARLENE HANCOCK. Hair; LISA DOVE, music; NICK LAIRD, photos; TAMARA REBOURGEON who stepped in at the last minute. Sales and raffle; MARGARET GREY, TERESA BOWATER and PAULINE MILLS. The mighty man of all trades and cat walk minder and builder BRUCE GORDON. JOHN CREE who came to help set up in the morning, along with GEOFF and BRUCE. As you can see, a lot of people involved to make things run smoothly. SARAH and JONNY GREENER for the “pop up”, CAT LOGAN for doing the typing.
The raffle prizes were generously donated by SUGAR SUGAR (gift box), SUMA SUMA (gift voucher), COUNTDOWN (two vouchers), CHALERM THAI MASSAGE (two vouchers), LESLI CHURCHILL (beautiful cake), and SUE CAMPION (two lovely cushions). Thank you all for your support, all the winners were delighted with their prizes.
